Recently, the Kiwanis Club of Fountain Valley gave Robyne’s Nest students exactly that, a special evening of bowling, pizza, and gift cards that left our teens smiling long after the last pin fell.
Real Love Respects: Breaking the Cycle of Dating Violence
This February, during Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month, we are focusing on a cycle that often stays hidden in the shadows: dating abuse. The statistics are a sobering reminder of why our work is so critical. 1 in 3 teens in the U.S. will experience physical, sexual, or emotional abuse from a dating partner before they become adults.
