Meet Amanda, whose academic excellence and deep care for teens are helping drive Robyne’s Nest’s mission forward.

Our Life Skills students recently celebrated the season with a hands-on cookie-decorating activity, complete with classic holiday films like Frosty the Snowman and A Christmas Carol playing in the background.

Recently, our Life Skills class welcomed Taylor Kourkos, a Sound and Communications Electrician with IBEW Local 11, for an information session on careers in trade work and union membership.

This season, members of the NCL Pacific Coast Chapter assembled and delivered more than 150 hygiene kits for students supported by Robyne’s Nest. Packed into the back of an SUV, these bags are headed to youth who are facing homelessness or housing insecurity.

We are so grateful for our incredible Adopt-A-Student donors! Because of your generosity—through gift cards, Amazon wishlists, and full student adoptions—our youth felt seen, cared for, and truly celebrated this year.

Our students gathered for our annual Holiday Party, and the energy was pure joy. From a special visit from Santa himself to the excitement of our gift exchange, it was a night filled with laughter, belonging, and holiday cheer. 🎅🎁

A quick update on our upcoming Holiday hours for 2025.

At Robyne’s Nest, we often say that it takes a village to support our at-risk and homeless youth. As we move through December, our community in Huntington Beach and the surrounding cities of Fountain Valley, Westminster, Costa Mesa, and Newport Beach has proven that sentiment true once again.

Our friends at the Orange County Indian Motorcycle Riders Group are revving up to help us stock the pantry! This Saturday, they are doing a massive "Drive Along" through Huntington Beach to pick up food donations that directly support Robyne’s Nest.

Last week, we celebrated Friendsgiving 2025 at Robyne’s Nest, bringing our students, volunteers, and staff together for a night of gratitude, laughter, and—of course—a delicious meal.

This month, our students took part in a meaningful three-part Life Skills series led by longtime volunteer Jim Holley about Coping Skills for Alcohol & Drugs.

Join the Fountain Valley Community Foundation Poker Tournament on Nov. 15 at the Center at Founders Village! It’s a fun night of cards, community, and giving back.
