Holiday Thanks!
At Robyne’s Nest, we often say that it takes a village to support our at-risk and homeless youth. As we move through December, our community in Huntington Beach and the surrounding cities of Fountain Valley, Westminster, Costa Mesa, and Newport Beach has proven that sentiment true once again.
Because of your overwhelming generosity, we are heading into the winter season with a full pantry and a heart full of hope.
Nourishing Our Youth Through the Break
For many of the students we serve, winter break can be a time of uncertainty. When schools close, the guaranteed meals they provide disappear. Our Winter Break Food Drive was launched to bridge that gap, and the response was nothing short of incredible.
To everyone who dropped off groceries, organized collections, or donated funds to fill our pantry: Thank you. Your contributions ensure that our students can focus on their studies and their futures rather than wondering where their next meal will come from. This is "Stability Through Support" in its purest form.
Turning Corks into Life-Changing Funds
In addition to the essentials like food and housing, the creativity of our community never ceases to amaze us. We want to extend a very special thank you to everyone who contributed corks for our Cork Christmas Tree project.
Through the hard work and vision of Kata Conlin, those simple corks were transformed into a beautiful holiday symbol that raised nearly $1,000 for our programs! These funds go directly toward the mental health therapy, life skills training, and educational support that help our youth thrive beyond high school.
A Community-Driven Mission
As our new Executive Director, Natalie Moser, leads us forward with the support of our Transition Advisor and founder, Robyne Wood, we are reminded that our impact is a direct reflection of your kindness.
Whether it is a bag of groceries or a handful of corks, every donation is a building block in a student's journey toward independence. You aren't just giving items; you are Breaking Cycles & Changing Lives.
