Life Skills - Self Defense

We were so lucky to have our awesome volunteer Cindy teach our students a few basic techniques for defending themselves last week. 🥷🏻🥊🤼 She shared with students how to hit open handed if they are attacked, escape from a hold, and tips for staying vigilant when out and about.

After the lesson, students enjoyed homemade burgers from another awesome volunteer Cookie. 🍔
