Robyne’s Nest is excited to welcome our new Assistant Director, Brystin Davy! Brystin brings a multitude of skills and a diverse background to Robyne's Nest, and is diving head first into the Operations of the organization as well as the Volunteer Management, Events and our social enterprise, Threadz.

Hector “Hek” Valdez is a talented, local tattoo artist in Huntington Beach. Hek recently spoke to our students about what it takes to become a tattoo artist, the good, the bad and everything in between.

During Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month (TDVAM), the focus is to break the cycle of violence by providing support and services to victims, their families and their communities.

However, for many teens in unhealthy dating relationships, Valentine’s Day can be a day filled with both mental and physical abuse.

Volunteers are the life blood of Robyne’s Nest, and this month we are celebrating our dedicated and wonderful food drive coordinator, Shawna Huerta.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, Robyne’s Nest was able to provide much needed resources and support to our students in the fourth quarter of 2023!

Finals week is often synonymous with stress and anxiety. For our at-risk and homeless teens, their extremely adverse living environments and stressors outside of school can significantly magnify this stress and anxiety.

Our Robyne’s Nest students come very from very unstable living situations, and have no concept of how to break their cycles and plan for better futures.

Our Robyne’s Landing Student Transitional House renovation and expansion project has come to fruition, and was dedicated last week!

Though statistics vary year to year, about one in ten young adults ages 18-25, and one in thirty youth ages 13-17 experience extended homelessness annually.
