Human Trafficking and Homeless Youth

Human trafficking is the use of force, fraud, or coercion to compel a person into commercial sex acts or labor or services against their will. The topic of human trafficking is now a mandatory part of the state's health curriculum. Youth in adverse living environments or experiencing homelessness are a prime target of this criminal industry.

Robyne's Nest was privileged to have the opportunity for our volunteer Dan Hendrich to recently conduct a class on human trafficking at Valley Vista High School. Robyne’s Nest takes a proactive approach in supporting our students by increasing awareness and providing resources to break their cycles and change their lives.
