Our New Intern: Rachel

Please join us in welcoming Rachel O'Connell, our newest intern at Robyne's Nest.

Rachel has built her career in the nonprofit world, with experience in grants management, data management, program support, and community investments. She holds a 40-hour Domestic Violence Certificate, and trauma-informed care shapes how she works. Relationships come first for her. She communicates clearly, collaborates easily, and steps up quickly when a project needs it.

Rachel plans to become a social worker. She wants to help people make real changes in their lives, and she's just as happy to support them through hard stretches as to celebrate when they reach a goal. That's a big part of why she loves interning here. At Robyne's Nest, she helps guide our students as they learn what life on their own looks like, and she gives them the support they need to succeed after they graduate from the program.

Outside of work, Rachel lives in Huntington Beach, where her downtime mostly belongs to her two cats, Ruby and Pearl.

We're glad to have you, Rachel!
