Physical gift cards are one of the most flexible and impactful ways to support Robyne’s Nest students during the holidays and throughout the year.

Many of our middle and high school students are experiencing housing instability or limited family support. A gift card can help them cover basics like food, clothing, and school essentials – while also giving them the dignity of choosing what they need most.

Recommended Gift Card Types

We gladly accept new, unused physical gift cards in any amount. Popular and most-needed options include:

  • Target – everyday essentials, clothing, toiletries, school supplies

  • Walmart – food, hygiene items, clothing, and basic household needs

  • Amazon – school supplies, personal items, and specialty needs

  • Grocery Stores (e.g., Ralphs, Vons, Albertsons, Stater Bros.) – food and snacks for students and their households

  • Gas Stations (e.g., Chevron, Shell, Arco) – fuel support for students and families with vehicles

  • Pharmacies (e.g., CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid) – hygiene items, over-the-counter medications, and small essentials

  • Clothing & Shoes (e.g., Ross, T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, Old Navy, Kohl’s, Foot Locker) – school clothes, outerwear, and shoes

  • Fast-Casual & Restaurants (e.g., In-N-Out, Chick-fil-A, Chipotle, McDonald’s, Panera) – meals and a chance to enjoy a “normal” teen experience with friends

  • Coffee & Treats (e.g., Starbucks, Dunkin’, local cafés) – small morale boosts and study-time treats

  • Prepaid Visa/Mastercard Gift Cards – flexible support for a wide range of student needs

Many donors choose denominations like $25–$50, which are especially helpful for students shopping on their own or with staff support.

How to Deliver Your Gift Cards

In Person:

  • Drop off at Robyne’s Nest during office hours:

  • Monday–Friday, 9:00am–2:00pm (excluding holidays).

    • Place gift cards in an envelope.

    • Clearly label the envelope “Gift Card Donation”.
