Robyne’s Nest is a 100% volunteer-based organization. We value every person that dedicates their time, skills and expertise to support our mission.  Opportunities vary in scope, frequency, and time commitment – there is a role for everyone! Volunteer positions listed below are for individuals 18 years of age or older.

Grant Writer (No Gov)

You will write proposals secure funding for
Robyne’s nest by applying for financial grants allocated by companies, foundations, and trusts. Local foundations are our main focus.

An Extra Hand

We can always use volunteers for at-once, small task needs (ie., driving a student, picking up donations, helping with events).

Mock Interviewers (Life Skills Class)

You will conduct mock interviews to help students develop presentation and interview skills as well as help them reduce anxiety about interviewing by training them for typical interview questions. This is a two-hour class.

Marketing Social Media Coordinator/Graphic Designer

Work with Executive Director to create calendar of upcoming opportunities for marketing; create pieces for advertising, social media, and newsletter; help with weekly updates of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Mailchimp.

Life Skills Class Instructors:

Do you like teaching and working with kids? Then this is the perfect volunteer position for you! These are curriculum established courses consisting of basic, easily taught information. These are two hour classes.

Community Partnership Coordinator

This person seeks and secures the support of businesses in our community, encouraging them to provide deep discounts or free goods/services to Robyne’s Nest and our students. We would also like you to work with businesses who could provide employment opportunities for our students in a learning capacity to enhance their job skill set.

Life Skills Class Coordinator:

This person works with the LSA and Volunteer Coordinator to ensure there are instructors for each class, materials are prepared, take attendance and should be on-site for start of all classes whether at RN office or at the school location. Ensure all RN students are taking classes required to fulfill their part of the student contract. Education Coordinator will train volunteer instructors on how to instruct classes, present topics, and conduct exercises.

Book Keeper

Updates Quickbooks online on a bi-weekly basis to ensure our financials remain current. You will work closely with the director on expenditures. Perfect for someone who enjoys organizing and working with numbers. Accounting Students Welcome! Morning, Afternoons or Evening Schedules Available.
