Volunteers are an amazing resource for Robyne’s Nest. We recognize how important they are to our community and everything they do to help us achieve our goals of serving our students. This month we are highlighting one of our great volunteers, Sonja Bostwick! Sonja has held a couple roles with our organization. Click here to read her story.
Sonja found Robyne’s Nest in November of 2021, as she was looking for a charity that helps teens. She and her mom wanted to provide gifts for older teens at Christmas because she felt that teens were overlooked. She contacted Robyne to get a list of teens and what they wanted for Christmas. She made a gift bag for each student they had in need.
After enjoying doing the Christmas gift bags, she later decided she wanted to continue her volunteering and in February of 2022 she became our Pantry Manager, overseeing the pantry’s inventory, distribution of donated food for students and coordinating our school break food distribution. She enjoys volunteering at Robyne’s Nest and loves helping students in-need. She is very excited for the upcoming new year and to see how Robyne’s Nest continues to grow. Sonja is dedicated and hard working and we are so grateful to have her as part of our volunteer group. Thank you, Sonja, for sharing your time, generosity and support for our Robyne’s Nest family and community! We are so thankful for you!
